The Made in England Vintage collection is handcrafted by Dr. Martens'Northamptonshire factory cobblers using original construction techniques — plus Quilon, Dr. Martens'rare, original specification leather. Thick and corrected-grain with a matte finish, this leather only gets better with age.
This unisex 1460 boot is made with all the classic Doc's DNA, including grooved sides, heel-loop and yellow stitching. Built to last, it's made using one of the finest methods of construction: the Goodyear Welt — which means the upper and sole are sewn together in aheat-sealed z-welt stitch. The boot sits on theiconic AirWair sole, which is oil and fat resistant, with good abrasion and slip resistance.
Dr Martens'Made in England footwear may come with either a gold or yellow scripted heel loop.

Construction
